Islam is the gateway of life. Complete(Syumul) to everyone and covers all aspects of life; politic, social, economic, ideology, law, worship, etc...
what about LAW?
Since im studying law...i've learnt many new things, but still not enough yet...ok..thats it...we already know that law is really important in order to conduct human behaviour...to seek justice?...and to keep our society living in harmony and peace...well, these perceptions seem to be questioned by those who so expert in Law. in Malaysia, our legal system applied three different laws...civil law, Syariah law, and Customary law...
OK. In Malaysia, we can see that nowadays our Syariah does not apply all the rules (Hukum) that stated clearly in the two revealed sources; Al Quran and Hadith... we are only deemed to apply Ta'zir system ( up to Qadhi/Judge's discretion) rather than two important sanctions Hudud and Qisas...well, this issue is not a new thing as it has been debated widely all over the world. although, there is a good effort by our former Chief Judge nad other Mujahids who want to extent our legal system to both sanctions, but then has been denied by some people by the reason that our legal system must be consistent to our local circumstances, living in multi racial, religion and whatsoever and the sad thing that is that, Islamic law mistakenly assumed by some uncivilised people that our Hukum is too much barbaric. well, my dear readers, there is a lot of hikmah and the great values to us why ALLAH creates this...
my dearest readers, this is not a political issue that i want to highlight, but why i and other people need is that a harmony discussion for us to think and comprehend deeply and wisely...the future of Syariah law...and what will be happened for the next 20, 30 years in the future...
so....
we need....
to wonder and ponder....
deeply...
again and again....
about our future....
